Brodie is getting bigger everyday and exerting his independence in new ways. He loves the Little Tikes playset from Birdie and Scoops. Here you see him at the top of the slide at 9 months old. We will have to get some video soon of him lunging forward to head down on his own. Some of Brodie's new favorite things are bonking heads with Daddy, giving Mommy big open mouth kisses and pulling up on anything he can find (including Mommy and Daddy's pants...embarrassed to say he has dropped our drawers on more than one occasion)Mommy has recently labeled him as a "poser"...no not a derogatory remark like in our Junior High and High School days. Just look at the pictures in this blog to see examples of Brodie being a poser. He is definitely not camera shy at this stage of life. We love the little guy dearly and deeply and he brightens everyday with his smiles, hugs and kisses.
In the picture to the right, Brodie got to spend a little time with his friend Molly (James and Dangela's little girl). They missed getting to play together most of the day because their nap times were at different parts of the day. This was our first time to look after two little ones. We handled it well so it gives us encouragement and confidence for the next little munchkin (nothing to be alarmed of yet Birdie or Nana)!
