A Weekend at the Ballpark

What a weekend! At the last minute we were given 4 tickets to the Friday night Rangers game and, although we were already going to the game on Saturday afternoon, we did not even think twice about turning down another set of tickets. We LOVE our Rangers! So, we let Brodie invite a friend to go with us and off we went. Jack and Brodie had a blast from the start. We were only 4 minutes from our house when Kyle and I realized why so many families with more than 1 child have big SUV's. Wow...they were SO loud! We all thoroughly enjoyed the game and the boys kept us and the fans all around us entertained. The Rangers played really well and beat Oakland 13-4...we all went home happy and tired.
Then, on Saturday, Interstate Batteries had family day at the Ballpark so we got to see game 2 of 3 against Oakland. The ending wasn't as happy, the Rangers lost 7-8, but it was still fun and the weather was perfect. We got to sit in the shade (home run porch) and had an open buffet full of ballpark type food to choose from. Of course, Kyle and Brodie took advantage of that! On the way home that evening, we had one pooped Rangers fan amongst us. It can be tiring to have so much fun!
