We celebrated Christmas with Kyle's side of the family the weekend after Christmas. Kim & Steve hosted the gathering this year and the kids had a great time jumping/playing on their new trampoline. Their family Christmas tradition has always been to do a Chinese Christmas exchange, only the gifts are MUCH nicer than gag gifts that you would expect to see in a traditional chinese exchange. I'm not sure if it's always been this way, but now there is usually at least 1 gift that everyone wants. Okay, so by everyone I mean the girls. But the point is, that one particular gift changes hands several times before it's final stop. Only this year, Brodie is pretty sure he got "that gift!" It came in a huge, santa type bag and it was full of all kinds of goodies. Chocolates, pez, a bucket of popcorn, travel games, kid toothbrushes, etc. Brodie was super excited and held on to the bag with a tight fist and a mean look in his eye. Thankfully, no one took it.
