Well, the last month of summer did not disappoint- it was jam packed and full of more fun! Brodie attended an FC Dallas Soccer camp for a week and, although I would have been the first to pass out from heat exhaustion (it was 100+ degrees everyday), he ate it up! He had a great coach and really enjoyed meeting new kids and learning new drills that he could use for the fall soccer season. With so many summer sports camps to choose from in Dallas, I was thrilled that we picked a good one.
Brodie also got to hang out with some friends, conquer the ropes course at Main Event with his cousins, and he attended Pine Cove Base Camp for a week at our church in August.

Pine Cove is an awesome camp! It's designed much like T Bar M in that their primary goal is show campers the love of Christ in everything they do. They play lots of games, learn the ropes course (yes, they actually bring camp to the church!), have worship time, and huddle group time where they learn more about Jesus and what Scripture has to say about Him. Brodie could not wait to go back everyday and is already looking forward to attending next summer. We want him to go too, so I guess we should start saving our money now!
