Wow...what a fun day we had with friends last Saturday! Brodie would say these kinds of days are the BEST: ) Kyle had to work on Saturday (boo!), but Brodie and I got to pick up one of his friends, Katelyn, for a play date. Katelyn has a new baby sister so I thought it would be fun for her parents to have a few hours with the baby while we had some fun ourselves. Now that's what I call a win win situation! And boy did we have fun! I had envisioned an hour at the park followed by some lunch, but the weather did NOT cooperate that day. Oh well....we hit Going Bonkers instead (yes, the title is self explanatory- mainly b/c of the crowds and all the noise). Brodie & Katelyn had so much fun climbing and crawling that I could barely keep up. Finally, they were exhausted and ready for some grub. The funniest part was getting a text later that day from Katelyn's mommy thanking me for wearing her out. Apparently she took a great nap that day! We are so thankful for our friends & fun play dates!

Later that same day, we got to head to the Adams house for more fun with friends! We love connecting with them....just being real and sharing life over a great meal. They have 3 kiddos and the oldest, Jake, is just slightly older than Brodie. The great thing is that they all play well together so it makes for a very enjoyable evening for everyone :) Thanks, Adams, for being such wonderful hosts and friends!
