A Lot of March MADNESS

They say that a parent should never live through their kids, right? Well I had to make an exception to that rule over the last week of March and the first weekend in April. I will get back to that, but first some background... This year marked the 8th Annual Bobblehead competition. The event attracts the greatest sports minds around to "Duke" it out in a battle of the brackets. That's right... the NCAA Basketball Tournament which has come to be known as March Madness. Brodie (number 8 in your PSO programs, but #1 in our hearts) took part in the fun this year. Somewhere along that DNA chain is a strong link between Dad's love for any and all sports and Mom's competitve determination. Brodie REALLY gets into any game he watches on TV. My (Dad's) bracket made an early exit this year... so by Round 2, I found myself caught up in the excitement of "Brodie's Dribblers" moving to the top of the leaderboard... and when the Final Four arrived, Brodie was one of only two potential winners. Here are a few pictures to roll thru (our own version of the pick & roll) and afterwards you'll see if the Brodester was able to net a win in his Rookie season:

In mourning after Texas lost to Arizona

Final Results: Brodie fell short by only 3 points... he could have used a three-pointer almost as bad as Butler needed to hit one against UConn in the championship game.
