Silly & Not So Silly

I haven't taken too many pictures of Brodie's b-ball games b/c they don't usually turn out so well inside the gym. I choose to video them instead but I haven't taken the time to download them yet. So, in the meantime here is a taste of what happens at the beginning of each game. The teams run through a tunnel and are greeted with high fives from the fans (us!) as their team name is called out over the loud speakers. Now most kids are smiling and being silly in some way...like we would expect most 5, 6, 7 year olds to do. But not Brodie. Nope. He is so intense. This picture will not do justice, but Brodie runs through the tunnel blowing air in and out of his mouth with an intense look on his face. It's pretty cute and it's very hard not to chuckle (ok, so we chuckle a little). We try to talk to him about having fun and relaxing a bit, but when he's playing sports that just doesn't come easily or naturally to him. Oh well. That's our Brodie. And we LOVE him that way!
